The 2023 Mystery Designer is Susan Smith. She has chosen the Dutch Heritage Fabrics from Petra Prins. Susan's work and these fabrics will not dissapoint! These fabrics are coming from Europe and the quilt features over 22 prints. This year, there will be FOUR fabrics that are only available via the kits. If you want to make the quilt as Susan has designed it, you will have to sign up for the kits.
As always, much of the project will remain a mystery. The project will measure approximately 65" x 65".
This quilt is not for beginners. It will feature applique, hand piecing and simple embroidery.
In the coming weeks we will have more details about the optional acrylic templates, thread kit, backing and any other notions. At this time, we are only taking reservations for the kits and magazines for 2023. If you register for the kits, we will email you about the other details when we know more.
You will receive 6 installments of fabric in 2023. We hope to ship the first part in January, depending on the fabric arrival. The following shipments will be every other month in mid-March, mid-May, mid-July, mid-September, and mid-November.
Just a reminder the pattern will only be available in the 2023 Quiltmania magazines. The magazines are sold separately. If you are not already a Quiltmania subscriber, we can add a magazine to each fabric kit, just be sure to select that option when you register. You will need all 6 issues of Quiltmania published in 2023 for the patterns to make the quilt.
The cost will be $49.99 every other month during 2023 for the fabric kits (6 kits total). The magazine is $17.50 per issue. You may opt for in-shop pick up, or you may have your kit shipped for $8.00 per month.
You will need to give us a call at 501 227-0288 with your payment information in order to complete the registration process. You will not be charged until your first kit is ready.
Please note - this subscription is non-refundable and non-cancelable. By completing the reservation process, you are committing to the charges for the entire program.
