Instructions included to "Make New" with a combination of organic cotton prints or "Make Do" with a stash of vintage neckties for a one-of-a-kind retro bag. Bag has a magnetic snap closure and interior pocket. This pattern is part of my Make New or Make Do™ sewing pattern collection. Materials you'll need to make the Caitlyn Handbag:
1/3 yd of 45” wide Main fabric (Light to mid-weight fabrics, such as quilting cottons, twill canvas, decorator fabrics, linens.)
1/4 yd of 45” wide Contrast - 1 fabric (for band)
1/4 yd of 45” wide Contrast - 2 fabric (for pleats, flap and strap)
1/3 yd of 45” wide Lining fabric (Light weight fabrics, such as quilting cottons, broadcloth and shirting)
1 yd of 20” wide woven cotton fusible interfacing
1 magnetic snap, 1/2” diameter
