Ya Ya Helen is a perfect update to your great grandma’s scrap quilt. Grandma’s was made with odds and ends of everyones Sunday best. Ya Ya Helen’s however is a mixture of what I call Bubbie’s blooming modern garden and Ya Ya’s folksy feel. This heirloom is made of simple patchwork embellished with sweet miniature embroidery appliques on solid cotton woven backgrounds.
