Sew A Little Love Bug
What is a Love Bug? It’s a stuffed friend – a pillow – given to children. Many will include a note tucked inside a wing with words of encouragement
and support.
Moda Fabrics has partnered with an organization called the Creativity Shell to make and donate Love Bugs to organizations in local communities through the Sew a Little Love Bug campaign. This partnership shares a commitment to giving back to our communities, eliminating inequality, and helping children in need, as well as a mutual calling to support youth mental health awareness and arts education.
Bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies and the Stitchin' Post will provide the kit with fabric, trim, stuffing, and buttons. Love Bugs made will be donated to Child Protective Services to be given to a child in crisis.
