Beginning Quilting Bootcamp

In this condensed version of our Complete Quilting 101 class series, you will learn all of the basic skills of quilting using today's tools, including choosing your fabric, cutting, piecing, pressing, layering and basting your quilt, quilting on your sewing machine, and binding your quilt. You will make a table runner using the pattern shown in the photo and one of our fabric kit options. Basic sewing skills are a prerequisite for this class, and you must be able to attend both sessions, so check your calendar carefully before registering. Four students will be required in order for the class to be held, so encourage a friend to sign up with you! You will be notified one week in advance if the class does not make.
Please note: A walking foot and a 1/4" piecing foot will be needed for your machine (see supply list), and you will need to purchase you kit and prepare your fabric using our starch method prior to class.
