Serger Basics - Classic Tee
Stacie will help you get comfortable sewing on knit fabric with your serger as you stitch up a tee top using your preferred pattern. All brands of sergers are welcome; however, if your serger is not a current Bernina, Bernette, or Husqvarna Viking model, you will need to be comfortable with threading it and doing necessary stitch selection and adjustment. Please come by in advance to select your pattern and purchase your fabric so that it can be prewashed prior to class.

| Requirements: | All supplies are available at Stitchin' Post: serger in good working order (you must be familiar with operation of your serger if it is not in the current Bernina, Bernette, or Husqvarna Viking line); t-shirt pattern of your choice (we suggest the Lark Tee or the Ebony Knit Dress and T-shirt pattern; Pattern Ease for tracing and adjusting your pattern; fabric per pattern requirement, prewashed; basic sewing supplies; new size 80 ballpoint needles in size/type for your serger; four spools of thread to match fabric |
