Here is the Ginger Snaps's diaper shirt in white waffle pique timmed with bias binding in pima check or Spechler-Vogel lawn. Added pocket is hand-embroidered with bullion roses or bullion bunnies (see photos below).
For those of you who want to smock but not construct, we offer a selection of ready-to smock garments to choose from.
We also have a selection of pre-pleated kits including a ready-to smock baby pillowcase, and ready-to-sew baby bonnets and bishop gowns or dresses.
Call the store at 501 227-0288 to order any of your heirloom sewing or smocking needs. Pre-pleated inserts in white or ecru are available for $8.00 each, as is custom pleating service. For fabric purchased from the Stitchin' Post, charges are $15.00 to cut and pleat a bishop, and $8.00 to pleat an insert or skirt for a basic yoke dress. Please call for pleating charges on more complex garments.
